Health regen is suppressed when Chaos Reshaped is active in Destiny 2

Chaos Reshaped is a weapon perk that, at its second stack, is meant to grant increased damage plus a periodic 35 HP healing burst every 7 seconds. Instead, activating the perk suppresses the game's normal passive health/shield regeneration without properly replacing it with the intended burst heal, leaving players worse off than if the perk weren't active at all. It also reportedly interferes with the Vex Calibur exotic's overshield and interacts poorly with the "Brawn" activity modifier.

Severity: Medium (officially acknowledged and degrades a widely-used endgame PvE perk's usefulness, but doesn't block progression, crash the game, or cause data loss)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Equip a weapon or subclass source granting the Chaos Reshaped perk.
  2. Stay in combat (dealing or receiving damage) for 12 seconds to build the first stack, then another 12 seconds to reach the second stack.
  3. Observe that once active, base health/shield regeneration is slowed or suspended instead of being replaced by the intended periodic 35 HP burst.
